Her main focus areas include management development on supervisory to management level. The foundation of all the development programmes she facilitates is Emotional Intelligence. She is an registered life couch at Comensa and offers executive coaching in Emotional Intelligence.

She has been involved in Training and Development for the last 26 years and is currently busy with her Doctorate at the University of Johannesburg,

Patricia comes from a hospitality industry background and has been in the field of Training and Development for 14 years. Her main focus areas are staff empowerment programs aimed at developing leadership potential within the organization.

She started her career as a PRO and developed the industry through all various departments up to Food & Beverage Manager level. She then undertook the responsibility to set up a Training & Development function for four hotels. Her responsibility included Needs Assessments, Course Development, Facilitation and Evaluation of Trainees.

Carey is an experienced facilitator in the fields of Management, Leadership and EQ related behaviours modelling training.

She has over 20 years experience within the Hospitality field and has functioned as Group Facilitator on all levels within various National and International companies.

Over the last 5 years Carey has been intensely involved in structured Management and Leadership Development Programmes. Her work within the Management field included the development and implementation of fast tracking programmes from Needs Analysis up to structured design and development, including one-on-one coaching.

She is also an accredited trainer with Stonebow UK and is licensed to present their Trainer training products, namely Group Training Techniques, Craft Trainer Award.

Carey is also a qualified trainer in the concept of Motivational Interviewing, a process that enables individuals to assist others in identifying, internalising and working through emotionally laden conflict situations. She trains individuals from corporate and non-corporate environments on the effective use of Motivational Interviewing to facilitate behaviour change
